FERROWITHE MUSEO TALLER | FERROWHITE WORKSHOP MUSEUM |
It is a place where things are not only exhibited, but also manufactured. More than 5,000 pieces from the railroad and the port serve as the starting point to try to understand various aspects. They include the organization of the workshops that housed the tools, the social hierarchy and disputes within the community they catered to, and how this all contrasts with the present day.
These pieces, coming from different workshops and facilities, made a sort of puzzle. Each voice represents a life experience and weaves with others, a complex network that, one might think, is the living portrait that a community makes of itself.
In the museum area, we can see the railroad sheds, the Spy’s house and the former General San Martin Power Plant.

MUSEO DEL PUERTO| PORT MUSEUM |
This museum offers a tour that teaches the past and the present of Ingeniero White and its port. In each of its rooms, the things you see, hear and touch will transport you in the place’s history.
How? The world economy is portrayed in a dented pot; the expansion of the petrochemical pole is represented in a cake; and the privatizations of the ’90s are characterized by a geranium planted in a bottle of bleach. That is right! You should come with all your senses prepared to better understand what is going on.
